Passionate fans of Ariana Grande are calling for that a man who breached a barrier and touched the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or removed from Singapore.
A circulating clip depicts the individual from Australia bypassing camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the actors made its way down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.
Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the event by guards.
Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was due to appear on the next day. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.
This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram profile includes recordings of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last winter.
"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is evidently a legal violation," wrote an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.
"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user remarked.
Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring hundreds.
"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented a further message on Instagram.
A number of attendees also criticised security officers at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while some requested social media platforms to block Mr Wen's uploads.
In footage circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.
Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.
Hundreds of supporters had gathered in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore venue, including a number who had waited for as long as many hours before it began.
The film, to be launched on November 21, is the sequel of a dual version of the well-known Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the unexpected bond between two very different sorceresses.
The show itself is a spin-off of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.
They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.
The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful movie of last year in the UK, and scored 10 Oscar nominations, winning several for excellent wardrobe and production design.
