Prolific children's author and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the publisher commented: "Following a thorough review, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was reached following an review of allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable towards female individuals.
The publisher has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, noting: "We do not comment on internal matters."
Walliams is one of the UK's most successful children's authors, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in 55 languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Some of his books, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as small-screen adaptations.
To date, he has released over four dozen titles combined, encompassing a festive story named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.
His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE several years ago honoring his contributions to the charitable sector and arts community.
The publisher's decision comes after the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive in October.
