Two Charged In Connection With Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault

Two individuals are now facing charges related to a suitcase robbery where a suspected irritant spray led to people being hurt at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a car park lift, police said.

A young child was one of the people hurt in the event. Several persons were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not being treated as terrorism – caused disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
